BSP-SEACEN Governance Summit 2025

The SEACEN-BSP Governance Summit: Harmonizing the People Agenda with Central Bank Governance was held last 28-30 May 2025 in Boracay, Philippines. 

In the 3-day summit, 36 senior central bank leaders explored the intersection of human capital management and governance within central banks, examining good practices and strategies to strengthen organizational resilience, enhance leadership effectiveness, and improve adaptability in response to emerging financial, technological, and regulatory changes.

 

The highlight of the summit was the module on Leading Strategically for the Future where Deputy Governor of BNM Mr. Marzunisham Omar, Deputy Governor of BSP Atty. Elmore Capule, Assistant Governor of BSP Mr. Redentor Bancod and SEACEN’s Executive Director, Dr. Cynyoung Park shared their thoughts around central bank leadership and governance imperatives to seize opportunities amidst challenges in the rapidly changing central banking ecosystem.
